NURS 5340 Health Care and Missions
This elective nursing course exposes students to concepts in cross-cultural health care, and introduces the concept of servant-leadership in that context. The course will lay thefoundation of health care strategies, which can be used to serve and evangelize in cross clutural environments. Topics include culture shock,transcultural nursing,and methods used to start and maintain health care clinics in transcultural or faith based setting. Includes 25 clinical hours of a nursing mission experience.
