MUTC 6392 Thesis
The thesis requirement is designed to allow various aspects of creativity.1. An original composition relating to the larger forms for any media that is approved by the Schoolof Music committee is acceptable. A succint descriptive analysis should be included with the composition. This analysis will be relatable only to the original composition and will not involve any other body of works. 2. Theoretical research, on a stylistic-technical analysis of a body of music approved by the School of Music. 3. A combination of theoretical research and creative compositional procedures may be approved to fulfill the thesis requirement. The student must follow the guidelines of the school of music (Turabin) and the Office of Graduate Studies.A thesis processing fee is assessed.
