MUCM 5327 Survey of Congregational Song

The study of congregational song and itshistorical development. Areas of study include biblical backgrounds, poetic features, liturgies, psalmody, hymnody, and contemporarycorporate song. Analysis of the planning and use of song in corporate worship will also beexplored. Spring (odd years).
