EDSA 6335 Higher Education Legal and Ethical Respo
The students understand the types of legal areas that intersect on college campuses and develop an understanding of legal issues related toliability, contracts, hiring and firing, freespeech, disabilities, discrimination, Title IX, and many other important topics necessary foreffective college administrators. Students will analyze and evaluate the legal issues, ethical practices, constitutional provisions, court decisions and case law that impact higher education. Current legal issues affecting higher education will be embedded throughout the course.
