CSCI 6322 Computer Information Systems
Terminology and use of computers inorganizations. Topics include hardware and software technology, buisness data processing, distributed processing and networking, management information systems, database management systems,decision support systems, expert systems, and office information systems. An examination of the societal and legal aspects of computing and emerging informationtechnologies. Major software packages for business will be presented and used selectively. Work in the computer lab required.
