CCMF 6356 Cultural and Community Counseling
This seminar is designed to sensitize students to the roles of societal power disparities,therapist's racial identity and awareness, and client/cultural identity play in counseling persons of diverse backgrounds. The dynamics of counseling clients who are African-American, Asian-American, Lationo/a, Native American, gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender, and personswith disabilities will be examined.
