MART 113 Introduction To Video

Students are introduced to the basic knowledge of video technology. They will learn how to use a video camera, how to operate a zoom lens, learn about picture composition, framing and sound. They will obtain the foundational knowledge to proceed towards building video-networking skills. Students will be shown how to create effective video production; they will gain an overview of the functioning of the production model, the major pieces of video production equipment and their operation, and the specific functions of the production personnel. Students will learn how to proficiently use the computer software and hardware necessary to manage and manipulate digital files in Adobe Premier, nonlinear editing software.
