AST 252 Engine Performance II

Students will learn emission control system theory, diagnostics, and repair. Testing of drive-ability problems caused by defective emission control components and an introduction to computerized engine controls is also covered. Students will also learn how to inspect, test, and repair computerized controls. An Automotive Laboratory component is included. Course is intended for second-year students and a requirement for AAS degree.
