FIN 340 Investments
Covers the principles governing the selection of investment media, topics in modern portfolio theory, and techniques of analysis and evaluation as applied to various investment alternatives. The functioning of security markets and how financial assets are traded as well as valuation techniques for bonds, equity instruments, options and futures are covered. Emphasis is on gaining a more in-depth understanding of financial investment alternatives, their valuation and analysis.
