HMBA 625 Health Data Analytics
The purpose of this course is to teach students how to analyze healthcare data and apply that analysis to problems and issues in the healthcare system. Students will learn basic statistics, hypothesis testing, and other analytical tools and how to apply them to healthcare data. Students will work with data related to care patterns, clinical values, healthcare costs, evidence-based quality measures, and risk models. The course emphasizes the use of data analysis to support decision-making about the provision of care and value-based business arrangements in a healthcare provider setting.
