IDS 300 Internship
Provides the student with an opportunity to gain knowledge and skills from a planned work
experience in a specific career field while further exploring and confirming their career choice.
Specific Learning Outcomes are identified and evaluated by the employer, Career Services
Director, and IDS Faculty Internship Advisor. Content varies with specific internship
program/site. Credit is granted upon faculty approval of periodic review reports, a final summary
report describing the work performed, and an employer/site supervisor evaluation. Pass/Fail
grading.
Prerequisite
Minimum sophomore standing and approval of IDS Faculty Internship Advisor and Career Services Director.
Notes
Minimum work time 80 hours. 120 work time hours required for 3 credits.
