HMBA 600 Introduction to Healthcare Management
This course serves as an introduction course examining the mixed results of the recent efforts to apply management principles to health care delivery. It will utilize lectures and group activities facilitated by faculty members who will teach fundamental portions of the Healthcare Management MBA courses. Students are introduced to the goals, expectations, and methods that are used throughout the program including case analysis methodology, business plan preparation and business research, and analysis skills and techniques. The ongoing emphasis on relational learning will be explained and stressed as well. Pass/Fail grading.
