PHLT 340 Fundamentals of Social and Behavioral Public Health

An introduction to the social and behavioral concepts and theories associated with the field of Public Health. Health behavioral development, change, and decision making will be explored in relation to how they influence individual and population level health and disease. Examples of how social and behavioral theories are used to understand health behaviors and guide health promotion interventions will also be reviewed.
