CALG 100 Mathematics Readiness for Adults
This course is designed for students who need a review in basic math and algebra skills. This course will seek to prepare students for college level mathematics through the use of the ALEKS Assessment and Learning system. Topics include real number operations, exponents, percent's introduction to variables, algebraic expressions, exponents, polynomials, factoring, solving equations, graphing, linear equations, application problems. The course does not supply any portion of the math credits requited in any CBU degree program. Students may repeat the course for credit. Students may not receive credit for CALG 100 after completing any CMAT course numbered 100 or above. Payment of expendable materials fee is required. Pass/Fail grading.
