Introduction to the art, science, and technologies used in the positions above, on, or beneath the earth's surface. Theory of measurements and errors. Measurement of line, direction and angles. Principles of leveling, traversing and topographic surveys. Horizontal and vertical route alignments. Computation of Areas and Volumes. Computer applications.
