MUSC 1200 Music Appreciation
This course is designed to foster an understanding of music through the study of selected examples of musical works. Includes discussion of the basic elements and vocabulary of music, appreciation and understanding of diverse styles of music past and present, and developing listening skills. Emphasis is placed upon the analysis of compositions in conjunction with references to cultural and historical developments.
