HCVO 1013 Orientation to the Construction Trade
Introduces information that orients the student to the construction / heavy equipment trade, it will introduce the student to numerous types of machines in the heavy equipment domain and the ways the machines can be modified with various attachments. Students will also be taught the capabilities and limitations of heavy equipment machines. The students will learn to operate (starting and learning operating controls) various pieces of heavy equipment, learn how to check the vehicle before starting it, and the importance of visual inspection of the vehicle before operation.
