FRTY 2420 Intr to Global Info & Position

The student will be introduced to computer systems software associated with Geography Information Systems as utilized in forestry applications, use of the Internet for downloading images, and the methods of inputting and manipulating data in a GIS environment. The student will learn to take field Global Positioning Satellite data and interface that data with GIS. Prerequisite: CPTR 1000 (2/1/3)
