SPED 695A/B Supervised Residency/Internship and Seminar
Candidates will engage in field-based experiential learning activities related to best practices in working with students with exceptional needs. The objective of the residency/internship is to provide a rich and multi-faceted supervised experience that will enable the candidate to become an effective special education teacher in accordance with guidelines and code established by the IDOE. Candidates will present a professional portfolio at program conclusion to demonstrate competence to state certification. Two semester course; may substitute
