MINP 251 Extension Studies Practicum II
This course is a structured learning experience where the university partners with extension sites to create beneficial and supervised training. This practicum provides students with leadership or service opportunities within a local church or organization and its leaders. Practicum II will provide opportunities for growing leadership experience, communication skills, artistic skills, pastoral care, or other areas of skill development in areas of interest for future work or service. Structured mentoring by a qualified and experienced leader is an integral and important element for this practicum. The practicum features a combination of reading and written reflections in addition to mentoring discussions. May be repeated up to a total of six credit hours.
