HON-298F Honors Colloquium: Conspiracy Theories In American History
An investigation into the roles that conspiracy theories play in American society and culture, and their place in the broader context of American history. The class will examine competing explanations for the prevalence of conspiracy theories and explore well documented conspiracies (e.g., Watergate), as well as conspiracy theories which have not been substantiated (e.g., the Kennedy assassination). Membership in the Honors Program required, or permission of the Honors Coordinator.
Prerequisite
Membership in the Honors Program or permission of the instructor.
