HSP-128 Event Management & Conference Services

An introduction to the planning of special events and conference services within the hospitality industry. Emphasis will be on planning an actual event including its inception/theme, menu selection, timing and logistics, staffing and scheduling, selecting entertainment and decorations, marketing, sales, and budgeting. Students will perform every front-of-house position, including event manager, during the execution of theme dinner events served to the general public.
