ECE-265 Early Childhood Education Administration: Staff Development

A systematic approach to implementing programmatic change in child care settings through staff development and professional growth. Students will utilize practical methods and techniques of assessment to gain an understanding of respective roles of administrator and staff in fostering positive change within the context of organizational dynamics. Students must have access to a center-based child care program within which they can utilize the assessment tools that will be presented in the course. Prerequisite: DEEC Lead Teacher qualified with one year experience in a center-based child care program or DEEC Director I or Director II qualified.
