CLB-517 MOLECULAR LAB DIAG II

Major topics considered in this course include basic principles and concepts of current techniques used in the diagnostic molecular medicine including DNA/RNA separation and detection, nucleic acid amplification, DNA sequencing analysis and newly arising technologies. The applications of molecular testing will be related to infectious disease, oncology, genetics and pharmacogenomics. Prerequisites: CLB 515 (Molecular Laboratory Diagnostics I). Laboratory hours: 40 hours (1 week)
