MUSI 2117 Sight Singing and Ear Training IV
This course will continue to develop 1) sight singing skills with accurate pitch in major and minor keys using moveable Do solfege and Kodaly hand symbols, 2) rhythm performance skills, and 3) melodic, rhythmic, and harmonic recognition/dictation/error detection skills. You will learn to identify modes and other scale types, modulations, and basic altered chords in progressions. Students will prepare for and take the Aural Skills Proficiency.
