CJN-375 Audio Production
This course introduces the foundational concepts of conveying ideas and affecting audiences through sound. Students explore both the fundamental and expressive characteristics of audio. Through in-class workshops and production assignments, students develop practical audio production skills and sound design methods. The course progresses from audio capture and technical control to sound design and narrative construction, culminating in a fully realized audio-driven story. Students also gain an understanding of the industry landscape, professional roles, workflows, and expectations of the field.
