SOF 695 Threat and Vulnerability Management

This course addresses one of the key aspects of information security: threat and vulnerability management. Students are taught a phased approach to information security risk management based on the OCTAVE criteria. Students learn to build asset-based threat profiles, identify infrastructure vulnerabilities, and develop security strategies and plans. At the end of this course, students have the tools necessary to conduct a risk assessment of their organization and implement mitigation strategies. Prerequisite: None.
