ESL 73 Accent Training
This elective course educates students about how American English sounds are created and used. Students who successfully complete this course are able to speak with more natural American intonation and rhythm and better understand the speech of native English speakers. Students feel comfortable practicing intonation, linking sounds, and performing rhythm exercises. Prerequisites: ESL060, Oxford Online Placement Test score of 70-79, TOEFL iBT score of 75-95, or IELTS Band 5-6.5.
