Equine Racetrack Management - A.S.
This associate's degree will provide students with technical training they would need to be employed at Equine Racetracks (quarter horse and thoroughbred racetracks). Having this specialized training will allow students to be capable and preferred for all job openings in the racing office. No previous horse experience is required (although beneficial) as many of these jobs do not involve working directly with horses.

Required Racetrack Core Courses (24 credit hours)
Equine Studies Core Option 1 is for students who want an entire semester to work at a racetrack as an internship for 12 credit hours.
Equine Studies Core Option 2 is for students who want to take more electives (Business courses) who plan to complete a B.S. degree later. They take the internship for 6 credit hours.
