ED 230 P-3 Virtual Field

Students complete a Teacher Work Sample to demonstrate ability in planning, instructing, analyzing, and reflecting on working with a target student. Students relate principles and theories of education to teaching, including how to modify instruction and/or accommodate the needs of early childhood learners in a developmentally appropriate manner. Students explore current issues that affect the children's learning and develop, and assess lessons in preparation.  This virtual field experience course utilizes online learning to provide collaborative experiences between pre-service teachers and their course instructors. This course utilizes discussion board posts and assignments that mimic, as much as possible, what teacher candidates would see in P-3 classrooms.
