CR 330 Criminal Interviewing and Investigation

This course covers basic investigative techniques, the taking of witness statements and interviews, and report writing. The role of advancing technologies used for investigation will be explored with emphasis on the use of criminalistics and forensic science in reconstructing an event. A review of police procedure is also covered with regard to specific crime typologies.
