NU 565 Culminating Clinical Experience

This final clinical experience focuses on the integration of patient assessment, applied theory, and clinical decision making for patients across the lifespan via the collaborative model of outpatient primary care practice. Health promotion and wellness visits as well as diagnosis, treatment, and management of common acute and chronic conditions of individuals across the lifespan within the context of family and community are addressed. The 200-hour clinical experience in outpatient primary care results in increasingly independent decision making with preceptor validation.
