CR 430 Philosophy and Practice in the Ethical Administration of Justice
This course will analyze the philosophical aspects of ethical systems from developments of the Ancient Greeks to modern philosophers. Students will then apply these statements and the concepts of ethical standards to practices in the justice system. Students will also conduct self-reflection on their values, morals, and ethical systems in application of justice in real world settings. While the purpose of this course is not to teach a particular set of ethics, students will leave the class with a sense of what it means to be an ethical decision maker. It is not required, but highly recommended, that students complete their Woods Core Ethics and Theology requirements before taking this course.
