WQM 460 Source Water Management
Evaluates source water systems and water resources used to meet public, industrial, and commercial needs. This course is designed to aid future planning strategies with ground water, ground water under the influence of surface water, and surface water. The course will include demand forecasting, water rights, alternative sources, storage, injection and hydraulic modeling, watershed management, and integrated resource planning. Recommended:
WQM 311, 312.
Prerequisite
Grade of C or higher in the following courses:
WQM 311 and
WQM 312 is recommended.
