OTC Nursing Club

Mission:
The Ogeechee Tech Nursing Club (OTNC) exists to foster collaboration and unity among students enrolled in the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), Practical Nursing (PN), and Nurse Aide (NA) programs. Our mission is to support professional growth, leadership development, and community engagement while promoting excellence and integrity across all nursing pathways.

Purpose and Objectives:
OTNC strives to:

  1. Promote collaboration among ASN, PN, and NA students.
  2. Support professional growth, leadership development, and community engagement.
  3. Provide service opportunities, educational experiences, and peer support.
  4. Strengthen communication between nursing programs and Ogeechee Technical College’s Student Leadership Council (SLC).
  5. Encourage a spirit of excellence, integrity, and unity across all nursing pathways.

Membership Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled as an ASN, PN, or NA student at Ogeechee Technical College.
  • Attend at least 75% of scheduled meetings each semester.
  • Complete a minimum of 3 volunteer or service hours per semester with the college or the community.
  • Participate in fundraising activities that support club initiatives.
    Membership is open each semester, and students are encouraged to join and actively contribute to the club’s mission.

OTNC offers members the chance to engage in:

  • Educational experiences that enhance nursing knowledge and skills.
  • Leadership development through active participation in club roles and events.
  • Networking opportunities with peers and healthcare professionals.
