CIT 2550 INTRODUCTION TO PROGRAMMING

Introduces the student to the fundamental concepts of computer programming, including the kinds of programming languages, the concepts of structured programming and object-oriented programming, procedures and functions. Compilers, Interpreters and Assemblers, algorithms, and statement types. A simple programming language or pseudo-language will be used, but an in-depth knowledge of how to write a computer program is not the goal of this course.
