THR 1080 INTRODUCTION TO THEATER

A survey course in which students will gain the means for greater critical analysis and appreciation of the theatre through the study of: the play and its parts; dramatic genres; the roles of the director, actor and playwright, the nature of the audience; and contemporary theatrical trends.
