REL 3096 NEW TESTAMENT: GOSPEL OF JOHN

After discussing introductory topics such as authorship, date and destination, and themes, this course will provide an historical, cultural, religious, and literary treatment of the John's Gospel. The course will then provide a detailed exegesis of the gospel and, where appropriate, connect John's theology with other writings attributed to him.
