MGT 6510 FINANCIAL STATEMENT DISCLOSURE AND ANALYSIS FOR ACCOUNTANTS

This course focuses on the assessment and analysis of corporate financial statements and the valuation of accounts under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) with discussions involving Sustainability Accounting and Reporting (SAR) topics and metrics. FASB's Accounting Standards Codification (The FASB Code) and the American Accounting Association (AAA) publications will be reviewed to provide an in-depth examinations of the research process and the sources of professional literature pertaining to financial accounting reporting and disclosure. This course will explore the format and test topics included on the CPA exam.
