The knowledge and skills offered by the Digital Art minor aligns with the needs of students who are pursuing a variety of majors such as Business Management, Communications, Computer Science, Fashion Industry, Graphic Design, Marketing, New Media, Psychology and the Sciences. The courses provide opportunities for basic exploration in the areas of digital art encompassing the Adobe Creative Suite software programs of Illustrator and Photoshop through a variety of fine arts, illustration and graphic design projects. The Digital Art minor provides students with skills for further study in photography, graphic design and advertising.
