SPA 2090 Spanish for Heritage Students

Designed for students who speak Spanish at home but have been educated primarily in English, this course enhances oral and written expression as well as reading comprehension. It includes extensive practice with the conventions of written Spanish and many activities designed to expand vocabulary. Course materials include literary and journalistic readings, films and videos selected to provide an understanding of the Spanish-speaking community in the United States, Latin America and Spain. This class is accepted in lieu of SPA 2010 and 2150 for the Spanish major.
