NUR 3530 RN: Public Health Issues in World Health

This is a Level III theory and clinical course for the Registered Nurse undergraduate student. This course focuses on the expansion, synthesis and application of prior knowledge to global health concerns. The theory component focuses on public health issues within the local, national and international communities. Application of community health and public health principles are discussed. Selected clinical experience will enhance and validate theoretical concepts. This 5 credit RN course allocates 3 credits to lecture and 2 credits to clinical for a total of 90 hours/semester.
