This course explores the current music that students love best! A student-constructed playlist serves as the body of work to study through lenses of music culture and identity. Through critical listening, readings, writings and vibrant class discussions, students consider musical elements, textual meanings and deeper connections between music, self and society. Satisfies General Education Requirement.
