HIS 3200 Race and Ethnicity in American History

This course covers the history of race and ethnicity in the United States. Students will study the complex ways race and ethnicity have operated in American political, social, and cultural life. We will take a comparative approach to the topic, exploring the experiences of different groups through a variety of primary and secondary source readings.
