COM 2800 Theme Channels
(formerly NMD 2800)
This one-credit course explores the process of creating a social media theme channel. This can be a channel focused on one specific theme, a self-promotion, a parody/satire account, etc. This course requires consistent messaging, persistent use, and active promotion. Students will be required to post daily for 5 straight weeks with an intended goal of growing followers. Students will focus on community management, social media production, post scheduling, analytics, metrics and an understanding of monetization and promotion.
