POL 4600 Government Internship I

(formerly POL 460, 461)

Internship placements are available in local offices of government agencies and elected officials in Nassau and Suffolk counties, as well as state and national levels. Interns will have the opportunity to observe and participate in the political process at the grass roots level. In addition to their internship assignments, which include 100 hours at internship site, students must meet at least 4 times during the semester with their professor from the History/Political Science Department.
