ITA 3510 Contemporary Italian Literature

(formerly ITA 410)

This course introduces the student to the most important and influential artistic and ideological movements and authors of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries in Italy. The selection of works is varied in order to encompass different genres (novel, short story, poetry and drama) and worldviews, and to exercise different critical and analytical approaches to the texts.
