Departmental Honors at Graduation

Departmental Honors are awarded to students who have demonstrated outstanding scholarship in their discipline at Class Night which is held in May during the week before the yearly commencement ceremony. Departmental Honors are given to students who are graduating in May as well as those who had graduated the previous December and August. Students pending for a future degree award date are not included for Departmental Honors until the following year, although they may walk in the May ceremony if they are pursuing the credits in the Summer term needed to complete their program requirement in August..
