MUS 5380 Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy

(formerly MUS 538)

Foundations of the practice of Nordoff-Robbins music therapy will be explored through in-depth study of archival and contemporary studies via audiotape, videotape, DVD and the literature. Particular emphasis on the use of music as the primary agent for change in promoting well-being and growth in delineated goal areas. Clinical musicianship and the Nordoff-Robbins training model will be reviewed.
