Services for Students with Disabilities

Marietta College complies with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act regarding non-discrimination against persons with disabilities. The College seeks to offer support to all students and strives to make reasonable accommodations for individuals with documented disabilities. All campus services for students with disabilities are coordinated through the Office of Accessibility Services.

Veterans Benefits and Transition Act of 2018

Marietta College in accordance with the Veterans Benefits and Transition Act of 2018 will not impose any penalty, including the assessment of late fees, the denial of access to classes, libraries or other institutional facilities, or the requirement that a Chapter 31 or Chapter 33 recipient borrow additional funds to cover the individual’s inability to meet their financial obligations to the institution due to the delayed disbursement of a payment by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. This policy is limited to tuition funds paid by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs.Marietta College requires students wishing to utilize educational benefits to submit a Certificate of Eligibility by the first day of the term and any additional documentation needed for certification.

A restriction on penalties against the student does not apply if the student owes additional payments to the school beyond tuition and fees payment by the VA.
